Comments: Dr. Murphy is the best veterinarian I have ever met in 40 years of having pets. His hospital is the best equipped of any vet I have ever met and his staff is amazing. Dr. Murphy is the only veterinarian who is Board certified in avian medicine in Pinellas County. A lot of vets dabble in avian and exotic, but Dr. Murphy is a true specialist. He also a very good orthopedic surgeon. When one of my dogs broke his leg, Dr. Murphy did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone who has a dog, cat, bird or exotic pet.

Comments: Dr Murphy and his staff are very courteous and knowledgeable in pet bird care and nutrition. I was referred by a friend, and took my Senegal Parrot to see Dr Murphy when his feathers became dull. They ran blood work and other tests and found a bacterial and fungus infection. If I had not gone to a board certified avian doctor, my precious Mallow may not have been with me today!

Comments: Dr. Woodman is a wonderful, caring, persistant and very skilled exotics vet. In my case, he worked with my reptile, but I know that he also works with birds. He spent lots of his personal time making phone calls to other experts and doing research. He even did some of the blood tests on his own dime in order to increase his knowledge. He has called no less than 6 times since my lizard's illness to check on his progress. I think he is the most wonderful vet I've ever met - especially for exotics.

Comments: My sun conure was really ill, and Dr. Weinstein worked with me to try to diagnose the problem, offered me lots of good advice in providing good supportive care, ran tests and worked well. Comments: I have been taking all of my pets to Dr. Sawyer since she opened her office in Pickering, and I have never been happier with a vet. Mostly, I have never been more comfortable with someone handling my birds. My cockatiel is 20 years old and Dr. Sawyer handles him with such ease and a lot of tenderness. I trust her completely with all of my babies and her bedside manner is unmatched. Even when I go in just to buy dog food, she asks about all of my animals by name. All of the techs are wonderful as well. I have moved away and no longer having Dr. Sawyer as our vet is our greatest loss in leaving Pickering. Even though I have moved, Dr. Sawyer's office still keeps in touch to find out how our transition into our new home has been and how all the animals are coping! I coulnd't ask for anything more in a vet.
