VEGETTI ALA CHEF APRIL ADCOCK Spaghetti Squash Pellets Veggies Blanched in Vegetable Broth Sun-dried Tomatos (Raw are too acidic) Organic Sweet Potato Baby Food MINI SWEET POTATO PIE ALA CHEF APRIL MARTINEZ 1 Banana 1 Sweet potato, peeled and boiled Ground mixed nuts Bird safe cinnamon (Ceylon - not Cassia) Puree ingredients together. Add to pre-baked mini pie shells. Optional: add crumbled Nutriberries™ on top. Bake, cool and serve! BANANA ALA MIRANDA BANANA ALA MIRANDA:
Ingredients: 1/2 Banana 1 Egg (with or without shell) 1 cup quick oats 1/2 cup wheat flour 1/8 cup millet 1/2 cup water or unsweetened fruit juice Blend all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Spread the resulting paste onto a clean, microwave safe plate. Microwave on high heat for 3 1/2 minutes. Remove from microwave and let cool. Cut into shapes or strips, and serve! Leftovers can be refrigerated and stored for up to 3 days. VEGGIE PANCAKES VEGGIE PANCAKES:
Prepare pancake mix as directed. Stir in frozen mixed veggies. Pan fry as directed till golden brown. Other variations can include fresh veggies such as peppers. Frozen or fresh fruit may also be substituted. BROWN RICE CASSEROLE BROWN RICE CASSEROLE:
Follow instructions on brown rice - regular or boil-in-bag. Add a bit of shredded cheddar cheese to it while warm. Warm up frozen veggies or cut up fresh veggies and fruit in season. Add to brown rice. Add some chopped up greens. Serve. PARROT TRIVIA: A flock of parrots is called a "pandemonium." |
